What families ask us
Does my mother need to know how to use a smartphone?
No. After the initial setup that you do, her phone just shows a heart that says «All good». She doesn’t have to touch anything.
Do I need a smartwatch?
Yes: right now either an Apple Watch (watchOS) or an Android Wear OS smartwatch. Fall and incident detection is handled by the watch's own operating system (watchOS and Wear OS), using the emergency contacts you set on the device. Tevardo focuses on the rest: the basic information — movement and activity — comes from the phone alone too, and on top of that it checks that the watch is actually being worn and charged, so all the other features stay reliable.
Who can see the data?
Only the people you invite into the circle. The person being cared for chooses what to share and can change their mind whenever they like. We don’t sell the data or use it for advertising.
What happens when an alarm goes off?
Tevardo alerts the family in an order you decide. If the first person doesn’t answer within a few minutes, it moves to the next. Anyone can reply «I’ve got this» to stop the chain.
